Fuzzy Headed Morning {Talia}

The daylight coming through the curtains woke up the unwilling occupant of the bed, Gideon didn't do mornings and this one wasn't any different, apart from the hangover he would he nursing for the rest of the day. He groaned before pulling the sheets up over his head in an attempt to block out the light so he could fall back asleep, his alarm wasn't having any of it as it started blaring and beckoning him to get his lazy arse out of bed. He shut his alarm off and glanced at the time, seven am, he usually started work at eight thirty , although very often he strolled into the workshop at nine and nobody said anything. Groaning again Gideon got up, he didn't want to, but he had to work, lifting wallets and scamming people was just to risky at this point in time so he had to go to work like a normal person. He winced a little at the pounding headache, as he was reminded of the amount of alcohol he'd consumed last night. Deciding a shower was a good idea Gideon, headed to the bathroom shutting and locking the door behind him. Normally he wouldn't bother but he wasn't sure if the female that currently occupied his apartment alongside him would appreciate it if he didn't.

Once in the shower he let the warm water run down his face and shoulders, it was a welcome sensation that did indeed help clear his alcohol hazed head. Once done, he dried and pulled on some clean boxers and socks before heading out the bathroom. His apartment wasn't very big, and although a two bedroom it didn't have a huge area so it was just a tad cramped. He didn't mind it though, he spent very little time here anyway, he only slept here, when he wasn't with some woman he met, and weekends were spent doing bits of maintenance. With his apartment being small it wasn't far to cross the place to get to the kitchen, he had yet to put anything else on aside from his boxers and socks. He usually considered Talia in the things he did around his apartment but he was pretty sure she was used to seeing men in less than their underwear, with this in mind he never bothered to get fully dressed when he left the bathroom and very often wandered around the place in just his underwear. He grabbed a couple of slices of bread placing them in the toaster and grabbed a plate from the dishwasher. He set them both on the counter before grabbing two mugs and starting up the coffee machine. He didn't know if Talia was about at all because sometimes she was and sometimes she wasn't but he set out the two mugs anyway. He ran a hand through his still slightly damp hair making it stand at even more odd angles as he waited for the coffee machine to finish.
