[attr="class","postytextboxy"] Kaleb bopped along down the sidewalk, away from his one bedroom apartment, toward that coffee shop he's been waiting to try. After a couple of weeks of getting everything unpacked and settled, the photographer was ready to treat himself to some overpriced, handcrafted caffeinated drinks and high calorie pastries that he would probably end up trying to burn off in the next couple days. Moving to this town was a good idea, considering his best friend lived here, but it was kind of a drag that he didn't really know anyone yet and Eli worked during the day so it limited their time together. He was getting so much better at it, but meeting people was difficult when you had been mute for most of your childhood. His heart skipped at the memory of when they had first met, back when they both couldn't even speak their name out loud to introduce themselves. Who knew that hand held pokemon games could bring two people together like that?
Continuing down the street, his eyes passed over the signs and posters everywhere, admiring the pictures and critiquing some of them in his head, switching out boring full figured pictures of models standing stock-still to a more appealing pose or outfit or background. Working as a photographer was great considering he made his own hours and chose his own clients. It made enough money for him to live comfortably considering he was good enough to have people coming back to give him more projects to work on. Sometimes, he worked on his own prints and sold them at art works and such. On his way to the cafe, he was even hoping to find some more subjects to have model for him, considering all his old buds were back in his last town.
Waltzing up to the shop, he immediately notices a woman with blonde hair and round brown eyes, and starts fidgeting with the camera in his hand, biting his lip, wanting to capture a picture of her. She had some sort of aloof energy about her that wasn't rude or anything, just, closed off maybe distant. Kaleb was drawn to this, although he didn't really know how to approach her. He could just go up and ask her but that would be pretty weird, right? He doesn't even remember how he met his models from before. Cursing himself under his breath, he walks up to her and catches her attention, looking down at the camera in his hand,
Hey, I'm sorry to bother you, and this is probably really weird for a complete stranger to come up to you, but would you mind if I took a picture of you real quick? You caught my eye and I'm a photographer so... Trailing off awkwardly, he stands there, shaking a little, hoping he didn't freak her out but knowing he probably did.
