Holly F. Mason,

wow, are you my ...i completely lost track of time! well please sit sit, let me just move this stuff out of the way. okay, let's get started. tell me a little bit about yourself. This was it. Her first real interview. Of course, this was not because she was in any large films yet (God forbid she get a good role), but it was still exciting. Almost like... training for the real thing that was sure to be coming soon. She checked her makeup in the rearview mirror, and then jumped out of her car with a high pitched squeal, displaying her child-like excitement to everyone around her. After rushing into the brick building and being instructed to take a seat upon a white leather couch, she waited for her "interviewer," the host of a internet vlog that interviewed upcoming artists. Impatient as she was, she was a little irritated for the host to be late, but she couldn't stay angry for long. "Well, my name is Holly Faye Mason, but you can call me Holly. I'm exactly twenty years old, but my birthday is coming soon! If you're curious, it's May tenth. I'm an aspiring actress, it's been my dream since I was a little girl. Unfortunately, my acting career hasn't taken off just yet, so I'm a waitress at a little diner."that's a lot of information. so tell me, where are you from? It was? Oh no, she had only been asked one question and she was already screwing up. What if casting directors saw the video and took back all thoughts of casting Holly in their movie? Holly's mind ran wild with ideas of things that could go wrong, something she did often, but normally she shrugged it off and buried it under a bit more optimism. That was exactly what Holly did, because the cameras weren't going to stop rolling this entire interview. "I'm from Nashville, Tennessee... Ugh, all of the 'country' in that place was disgusting. I'm so glad I left. You know, I just moved here a couple of months ago."ahh fascinating ! well i'm from here, born and raised, never left. so many people that i know and love here, just couldn't leave them ! what about you? anyone you care dearly for here? A pang of sadness washed over Holly as she remembered her family, but she pushed it away. Pushed it away for the camera. Holly was so good at manipulating her emotions, it was what made her such a great actress. "No one, really... I mean, there's my sister, but she's still back in Nashville, even though I've tried to convince her to come here with me. Some of the regulars at the diner are my friends, though!" She played her sadness just right so she would get sympathy from watchers, but returned back to her bubbly self in time for the next question.quite a list. must mean you have a juicy past, let's hear a little bit about it. Even though the obvious sarcasm in the host's voice hurt Holly's feelings a bit, she continued with her story. "My history huh? Well, my mother and father divorced when I was seven. I guess they had their reasons... But any who, my sister moved in with our dad, and I moved in with our mom, and we each had visitation on weekends. It was traumatizing..." Holly stopped for dramatic effect, as she often did when telling her back story. She had practiced it hundreds of times, it felt like. "Growing up, it all stayed the same. Even though we were living in the capital of Tennessee, I felt.. trapped. So, I finally moved to New York quite recently in order to pursue my dream of acting. I heard it was one of the best places for budding actors, and this town was too beautiful to resist!"you just get more and more interesting. is that a word that someone would describe you as? no? then what is something that people would say you are. "Well, once upon a time, I was told that I'm like an eight year old trapped in a young adult body." She shrugged off the insult and continued to go through the file cabinet that was her memory to find some sweeter things that she had heard about herself. It was easy for Holly to remember things said about her in the past, both good and bad things, because of her simply excellent memory. "Other things I've been told... I'm outgoing, charismatic, friendly, you know, all of the necessary attributes for an actress!" Holly had no problem listing off good traits about her, and she especially liked telling people about the sort of compliments she received, although she wasn't the type to say it about herself.do you agree with what people say about you? "The eight year old one? No, no I don't." Holly stopped to share a chuckle with the interviewer, but she was quick to get back to business. "In all honesty, I think other people are right about me, for the most part, at least. I mean, I have to stay interesting and cheerful, right? Or else I'll never get famous, not if I'm depressed gothic scum." This was where the interview started to get personal, maybe a little bit too personal, as she wasn't one to open up to people just like that. "But sometimes, when I'm by myself... I'll just break down because it's a lot, following my dream, basically by myself besides the people at my job. Not even my sister wants to support me." Overdramatic Holly, as always.well i still think you have a certain something, not really sure what that is but i bet your boyfriend/girlfriend knows or are you still on the market? Holly's love life was a touchy subject for her, as she had never been in a serious relationship, and everywhere she turned fourteen year olds were admitting their undying love for each other. What? Anyway, Holly was a bit annoyed that she kept being asked personal questions by this interviewer, but then again, that was the kind of juicy gossip fans in the real world wanted to hear. "Actually, I'm a single Pringle." She attempted to keep the conversion light and casual. "I've never been in a committed relationship, unfortunately, but I'm available!" This meant other things as well, but not things Holly was openly willing to tell to the internet.shit, time flies. my next appointment will be here in a few minutes. it was a pleasure to meet you! Holly was a little upset being tossed aside so the next person could be asked the exact same questions, but that was apart of being famous, right? "Pleasure to meet you too!" She didn't say anything else much as she could tell her interviewer was in a rush. Instead she waited until they called cut, and walked out of the building with her belongings. She was, overall, content with her first official interview. |
