wow, are you my ...i completely lost track of time! well please sit sit, let me just move this stuff out of the way. okay, let's get started. tell me a little bit about yourself. Kaleb rocks tensely back and forth in the chair, biting his lip as the energetic person across the table just dives right in. Hi, uhm, my name's Kaleb, I'm 21 years old...and yeah. I'm a photographer, so people hire me to take pictures of them or for them. He's just recently gotten over his selective mutism, so his speeck is halting and awkward, his voice sounds underused and will give out in the middle of words. Oh, and my birthday is July 30 that's a lot of information. so tell me, where are you from? His face scrunches a but as he tries to think, going back to some of his earliest memories to try and pinpoint exactly where he was born. Well, I'm from New Mexico, where I lived with my family, but we moved around a lot when I was younger.ahh fascinating ! well i'm from here, born and raised, never left. so many people that i know and love here, just couldn't leave them ! what about you? anyone you care dearly for here? A smile automatically spreads across his face as he thinks of his two reasons for moving here. I'm actually glad you asked that! My best friend Eli lives here, and he's the main reason why I moved here. We've known each other since he was in second grade and have been besties ever since, even if we didn't talk much at first. Oh yeah, and my little brother Dan's here. quite a list. must mean you have a juicy past,let's hear a little bit about it. He shifted even more in his seat, the questions becoming more probing and uncomfortable. Gathering his thoughts, he took a shuddering breath and braced himself, fighting back his instinct to shut down and fiddle with the end of his shirt. Okay well, like I said before, I was born in New Mexico, but my family and I moved around a lot. To be honest, I have, uh, some difficulty meeting new people, so it became harder to actually talk to the other kids normally. I actually made a friend though, in second grade. I was ahead a couple of grades because my mom liked to teach us things when we were on the road and I guess it helped me a little. Anyway, I met Eli that year and he really helped me out of my shell. Heart sinking, his memory suddenly flashes forward through his high school years, nothing of importance really happening. I didn't really go to college because I got distracted, His eyes unfocus again, but he shakes his head and plasters a smile on his face. Well I got into photography, and that's how I made enough money to move here, so, yeah, that's my history I guess... you just get more and more interesting. is that a word that someone would describe you as? no? then what is something that people would say you are. the personality of your character but more seen through someone else's eyes. how does your character portray themselves to others. Becoming a little more confident in himself ( or at least faking it well), he smiles and looks around the room. That's an interesting question. Hm, well...Eli would probably describe me as a spaz, considering we always act like five year olds when we're together, and maybe a little promiscuous. He doesn't really understand the whole "aromantic" thing I think. My little brother would say I'm too quiet, even though I'm pretty loud with him too. Other than that, I can't really think of anything else.do you agree with what people say about you? can be a simple answer or a detailed one depending on how internal your character is. Yeah, those two know me pretty well, so, yeah, why not? He was downplaying it a lot, considering Eli knew Kaleb like the back of is hand.well i still think you have a certain something, not really sure what that is but i bet your boyfriend/girlfriend knows or are you still on the market? explain the love life involving your character and even dig into past relationships if it affects your character in anyway. Oh...well. I'm not one to get into "normal" relationships because I'm not a romantic person so... Kaleb did remember one arrangement (?) he had, but he tried to keep those memories tucked away in a place where he couldn't reach them. shit, time flies. my next appointment will be here in a few minutes. it was a pleasure to meet you! Okay, thank you? His patience was already running kind of thin, and he was anxious to leave, so he didn't give his interviewer any reason to stay. |
